Starting from the new creation Dove cresce ciò che salva | Sentimental archive of movement, the artist will share with the lɜ partecipantɜ the same questions that are driving his research path, the strategies that have been identified to activate a specific body language, a state of mind, an intention.
The desire is to lead the group to dialogue with the stones: a natural element that in the artist’s exploration, which took place in the initial part exclusively outdoors, he wanted to hold and bring with him to the stage.
After a warm-up of the body we will go through various practices that will lead the participants to investigate a possible intimate relationship: in contact with the human skeleton the stones become an extension, at the same time showing themselves as bones of the earth, skeleton of the world, our own skeleton. Pathways of reconnection with the world in which we live, of which we are part.
They inform, with their weight, shape and composition, our being, they activate an imaginary that becomes dance.
Picking up on Federico Luisetti’s thought, the stones show themselves as an archive of forces that compose and decompose life, they contain narratives of a past of destruction, fires, extinctions and transformations that have brought us here. And it is as if their stillness demands a reflection perhaps, a reflection on our being here.
The workshop is open to all people with any kind of physical training, with no age limit.
By participating in the workshop with Francesca Foscarini you can have discounted access to the workshop days organised by movimentopoetico with Michele Marchesani
