Autunno Danza/Fuorimargine 2021… inserts three suspension points to indicate a to be continued… a projection in time that expands from the present into the future. It is not just a question of punctuation or the formal aspect of written expression, but of a definite, decisively chosen posture. Just as space expands from the inside to the outside, from the places habitually used for performative action to cross the environments of life, suspension manifests itself in waiting points that become question marks and turn into exclamation points. Not parentheses, not semicolons, not dashes that separate, but dots that join together and with their multiple repetitions determine a dynamic, uninterrupted continuum, tending towards a boiling frenzy. We suspend judgements, unravel questions, exclaim astonishment and sometimes imprecation in the face of a complex period, contradictory to the point of schizophrenia. Aware of the difficulty of tracing the directives of a thought that is articulate and dynamic, but punctually stable in the social and political recognition of fragilities and differences.

Flowers of fruit trees’. Autunno Danza highlights authors who act with awareness of the precariousness of the existence of individuals, of the collective, of the planet itself, and do not declare themselves surrendered and supine to the impossibility of changing perspectives and navigating in contrary directions, even risking the impossible. Exposed and daring creativities that, shunning the yoke of mainstream aesthetic diktats, show themselves capable of pursuing courageous and divergent trajectories. Together with them, composing the titles of the works, we launch a joyful Sorakhe (Howl) aspiring to a Home Elsewhere and, with the movements of Harleking anarchists, we become the last Superstiti who voluntarily demolish The Wall to return the Body lib(e)ro and live What Remains.
