INCLUSIVE DANCE WORKSHOP AND CHOREOGRAPHIC RESEARCH
Project by Marta Bellu and Carovana SMI, in collaboration with Fuorimargine – Centro di Produzione della Danza in Sardegna.
An inclusive project of dance, expressive and choreographic research that aims to give space to the processes of the body that wants to take the floor.
To generate a space of the possible and the sensible where dance is research on language, based on the practice of encounters between people with and without disabilities, where different bodies and voices regenerate the expression of the creative and poetic potential of human beings, through the care of relationship and the creation of community
Activities will be based on the following macro-areas of work: feeling, exploring, expressing and communicating, through the body and relationship.
Based on the progressive deepening of each participant’s knowledge and exploration of the body, movement and expressive qualities, choreographic research practices will be proposed based on gestures as words and the creation of a common vocabulary, based on processes of observation, incorporation and dialogue.
The project involves the participation of a group of people with disabilities with autonomy in personal management and people without disabilities, from 12 years of age, up to a maximum of 25 participants.
The event in Sa Manifattura is the first of the workshop, which is developed in 3 modules of 3 days each.
