In 2020, Quebec-based choreographer Danièle Desnoyers started a creation cycle entitled Les Scénographies Paysages, in which she develops projects in unique natural environments.

After the creation in Quebec, it is in Sardinia that an original artistic proposal will be presented in different locations: a true intercultural encounter between artists from Quebec and Sardinia.

Six dance performers (Myriam Arseneault Campbell, Giulia Cannas, Châtelaine Côté-Rioux, Rachele Montis, Nunzia Picciallo and Brontë Poiré Prest) move to the rhythm of a choreographic score that invites the spectators to freely choose different points of view. They are accompanied by Elisa Zedda, whose a cappella singing directs their path and guides the spectators in their movements.

The project will end in the Santa Cristina Natural Archaeological Park, in the midst of a forest of cork oaks and olive trees, where there is a sacred Nuragic well celebrating the cult of water

The beauty of the chosen sites, with their history, already impose a dramaturgy of their own. They are places that tell stories and with which we enter into dialogue through song, the human voice combined with dance. We create a contrasting material that allows us to reinterpret these places-landscapes and to place a poetic gesture on them as an offering.
