Bringing one’s own voice to the stage in order to interrogate it as something other than oneself, constructing and deconstructing space through diffused sound and a process between ritual and play that is articulated on a blank sheet of paper.
The compositional research, of Beckettian and Cagean inspiration, alternates monologues, choruses, dialogues, textures and silences thanks to a choreography that combines sound art experiences with the idea that speakers are presences with which to enter into a relationship.
Speaking cables is an open and “site-responsive” device that, through the installation of its compositional cells in space, allows for different scenic dramaturgical possibilities.
